The land of the free needs to calm down.

Roseanne Barr thinks the public was way too harsh about Ingrid Andress‘ disastrous national anthem performance.

The “Roseanne” star told TMZ Wednesday that haters need to back off the country singer because “The Star-Spangled Banner” is the “hardest [song] in the world” to belt.

Barr, 71, shared that she thought Andress, 32, did a decent job despite the backlash.

And while many people have dubbed the “More Hearts Than Mine” singer’s rendition of the patriotic tune as the worst in history, the “Conners” alum believes she still holds the title.

Barr notoriously belted out the national anthem at a San Diego Padres game in 1990.

The sitcom star received boos from the audience and an onslaught of criticism from sports fans, the media and even then-President George H.W. Bush.

The late politician called Barr’s scream-singing “disgraceful,” to which she responded during a press conference, “I’m sorry I didn’t sing so good. But I’d like to hear him sing it.”

The comedian expressed sympathy toward Andress, telling TMZ that the “Wishful Drinking” artist will get through the tough moment in no time.

Andress took the field at the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington, Tex., Monday and sang a horrendous version of the national anthem.

She swiftly went viral and was roasted online for bungling the ballad.

The day after, the four-time Grammy nominee admitted she had been intoxicated during the performance and would be going to rehab.

“I’m not gonna bulls–t yall, I was drunk last night,” she wrote via X Tuesday. “I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need.”

Andress also issued an apology to the MLB, baseball fans and the country that she “loves so much for that rendition.”

“I’ll let y’all know how rehab is,” she concluded, “hear it’s super fun.”
