She appeared to have a blast with her mom and was animated in the stands as they watched Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic battle it out on the court. The title ultimately went to Alcaraz, which marked his second Wimbledon men’s singles championship.
Middleton, for her part, looked radiant in a purple Safiyaa London Cecilia dress ($1,766). The summery gown featured draping over the bust and a flowy skirt that reached her ankles.
She toted a nude LK Bennett Milly leather mini bag ($245) with her, which she matched with Camilla Elphick Lucia slingback heels ($395). She shaded her eyes with black Victoria Beckham VB644S sunglasses ($220).
The Princess of Wales, 42, has been the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club’s royal patron since 2016 and presented Alcaraz with his championship trophy.
Aside from Sunday, she has been absent from the tournament this year, though her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, attended two matches.
Kate;s outing on Sunday marked her second public appearance of 2024, as she has been lying low since she announced her cancer diagnosis in March.
Her first public appearance came in June when she attended the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London, which celebrated King Charles III’s birthday.
The event reportedly took a “toll” on the mom of three but not enough to keep her from watching Wimbledon.
She has attended the famous tournament every year since she married Prince William in 2011, except in 2013 when she was weeks away from giving birth to Prince George.
