Derek Jeter’s wife, Hannah Jeter, threw the New York Yankees legend a surprise party to celebrate his upcoming milestone birthday.
Derek, who turns 50 on Wednesday, shared photos from the lavish celebration at ZZ’s Club in New York City to his Instagram on Sunday.
“When @hannahbjeter surprised me with an early bday party!” he captioned the carousel, which began with a picture of the couple walking out of an elevator at the members-only club.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 34, completed the big surprise with a custom three-tier, navy-and-white birthday cake topped with gold candles.
Although the couple, who wed in July 2016, rarely show PDA, Derek also included a few snaps of himself getting cozy with Hannah as they sipped on cocktails.
The MLB star also posed for photos with his parents, Sanderson Jeter and Dorothy Jeter, his sister, Sharlee Jeter, and former teammates CC Sabathia, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada and Bernie Williams.
Major Food Group-owned ZZ’s Club, which opened in Hudson Yards last year, has a private location of its famed Italian eatery Carbone inside. Memberships for couples cost $10,000 a year on top of a one-time $30,000 initiation fee.
The Jeters, who have been together since 2012, share daughters Bella Raine, 6, Story Grey, 5, and River Rose, 2, and son Kaius Green, 1.
Although the couple, who recently sold their castle-like mansion in upstate New York, is typically busy managing their full household, they stepped out for a date night last month while Formula 1 was in Miami.
The apparent Carbone enthusiasts were spotted enjoying a romantic meal at the restaurant’s Miami Beach location.
“They sat next to each other instead of across from one another,” an insider shared with Pvnew at the time. “They looked so happy sitting there and drinking glasses of red wine while taking in the scene.”
The duo was also spotted dining at the eatery’s Formula 1 Grand Prix pop-up the night prior.
Derek and Hannah dressed to impress for the night on the town, with the model opting for a sleek brown minidress while her husband looked polished in a blue collared jacket and matching slacks.
