Ben Affleck is speaking out about his marriage with Jennifer Lopez.
The “Air” star, 51, opened up about adjusting to living with his wife’s “f—kin’ bananas” level of fame during an appearance on Kevin Hart’s “Hart to Heart” talk show. Season 4 of the Peacock series premiered on Thursday.
“We went somewhere with [Jennifer]—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this—people love her, and she really represents something important to people,” Affleck explained to the host.

“[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AAAHHHH! J-LO!'” he yelled. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”
Affleck also recalled another example of her extreme fame that took place during a family trip to Times Square in New York City with their brood of children.
Affleck shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, ‘F—k it, babe, we’re going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half.’ [Lopez] was like, ‘Alright,’ she didn’t say s—t,” he shared.
“We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s—t was like f—n’ bananas.'”
Affleck, who tied the knot with Lopez in 2022, continued, “I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit—she’s a heavy lady—and she starts running backwards filming, going ‘J-LO!!'”
Affleck also addressed his infamous facial expressions, noting that he sometimes comes across as frustrated in paparazzi photos because he’s “a little bit shy.”
“I don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why is this dude always mad?’ Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, ‘OK, here we go.'”
The “Batman” star didn’t touch on the state of their marriage in the interview, which was likely filmed prior to reports that the pair have been living separately.
Rumors that the couple were headed for divorce followed shortly after.
Earlier this month, they put their marital home up for sale amid Affleck’s stay in his Brentwood, Calif. rental home.
Though, the pair has a consistent visitation schedule and manage to “see each other every few days.”
The pop star attended her stepson Samuel’s middle school graduation ceremony last Wednesday alongside her twins.
She also grabbed lunch with her stepdaughter Violet at Beverly Hill’s Maybourne Hotel the following day.
