“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood admitted she’s “worried” about her fiancé Gary Wayt after he was reported missing.
“This is a huge deal, his parents, everybody is very worried. I am worried,” the MTV star said in an emotional video posted to YouTube Wednesday.
“There was not a big blowout fight or anything like that, OK. He is a missing person right now.”

Portwood, 34, shared that police know everything surrounding Wayt’s disappearance, explaining he left the North Carolina residence they are staying at without his phone and was later spotted alone at Walgreens on Sunday.
She added that Wayt, who is around 30 years old, took his keys and wallet with him but he doesn’t have a GPS in his car to find his way around.
“We are in the mountains,” the reality star continued. “He has never driven in the mountains. We are very scared right now.”
Unable to hold back her tears, Portwood added, “Nobody has found or heard from him yet. I’m trying my best to not think the worst. I have not ate [sic] in three days. I slept maybe an hour.”
The TV personality denied recent reports that she and Wayt got into an “explosive argument” before he disappeared.
“I am not what people have been saying about me all of these years,” Portwood added, seemingly referring to past reports about how she allegedly attacked her ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon with a machete.
“I changed a long time ago, OK, you have to understand this. Please listen to what I am saying, I am an honest person to you guys,” she continued.
“We have not had explosive fights. We are very in love, this man asked me to be with him, this man then asked me to marry him.”
“I have not touched this man in any horrible way. He does not touch me in any horrible way. We do not yell at each other … Please understand this, people change.”
Portwood then clarified she and Wayt did engage in an “emotional” conversation, stemming from “his parents being Vietnamese” and herself being who she is, though she didn’t provide specific details.
She described Wayt as the “best man” she’s ever been with while begging fans to pray for him.
Wayt’s disappearance comes shortly after sources told Us Weekly that he and the “16 & Pregnant” alum were reportedly engaged.
On Friday, sources close to Portwood claimed she is “really happy” and the proposal happened within the past few weeks.
“They’ve been in couple’s therapy and talk about everything,” the insider shared. “They’re being very proactive in their relationship and are doing the work to prevent problems before they start.”
Portwood and Wayt — who live in Indiana — met on a dating app in 2023.
The “Teen Mom OG” star was previously linked to ex Gary Shirley from 2008 to 2011. They share 15-year-old daughter, Leah.
She also shares 6-year-old son James with her ex Glennon, whom she dated from around 2018 to 2022.
