Tory Lanez secretly married Raina Chassagne shortly before he reported to prison, but she’s divorcing him after less than a year of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by Pvnew, Lanez — born Daystar Peterson — said “I do” to Chassagne in June 2023 just three months before he began his 10-year sentence for shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in July 2020.
However, Chassagne — with whom Lanez shares one child — filed to end the pair’s short-lived union Monday.
She cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for the split.

Chassagne never changed her last name, and it’s unclear how long she and Lanez, 31, dated before getting hitched on June 25, 2023.
Chassagne is also seeking sole legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son, Kai, but agreed to visitation.
TMZ was first to report the news of their divorce.
Despite her wishes regarding custody, Chassagne has taken Kai to visit his father at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.
In fact, the youngster got to hang out with his dad two weekends in a row back in January.
A member of Lanez’s legal team told TMZ at the time that the duo’s interaction did not take place on either side of a glass; they got to sit at a table and spend hours playing board games, drawing and munching on vending machine snacks. They even got to hug.
The musician brought Kai to court several times during his December 2022 trial, during which Stallion, 29, testified that Lanez fired several shots at her while shouting, “Dance, bitch!” after an argument ensued in their car on their way home from a party.
The “Savage” rapper claimed that the disagreement began over their occasional sexual relationship but eventually turned into a fight about their respective music careers.
Stallion — born Megan Pete — went on to allege that the “Say It” rapper offered her and her former best friend Kelsey Harris, who was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, $1 million each to stay silent about what had occurred.
Meanwhile, Harris admitted to sending a text to Stallion’s bodyguard that read, “Help / Tory shot meg / 911.”
Lanez declined to testify but pleaded not guilty and continues to maintain his innocence.
He was ultimately convicted of all three felony charges against him: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
Lanez was sentenced in August 2023 and reported to North Kern State Prison in Delano, Calif. — where he began his sentence — the following month.
