Dina Manzo didn’t hold back her celebrations after her ex-husband, Thomas “Tommy” Manzo, was convicted of hiring a mobster to assault her partner Dave Cantin.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum, 52, posted an Instagram photo of herself raising her hands up to the sky on Wednesday and was immediately inundated with supportive messages from fans.
“Light always wins!!!” one person wrote, to which Dina replied, “ALWAYS.”

A second supporter expressed how much love and support they have for Dina’s “bravery and strength.” The Bravolebrity commented several red-heard emojis to show her appreciation.
“What’s done in the dark is revealed in the light,” a third person commented, to which Dina suggested agreement with a shining star emoji.
Dina also posted a purple-heart emoji to another fan who wrote how “happy” they were to see that she “finally got the justice [she] deserved.”
The reality TV star also expressed her emotions over the verdict by sharing a very telling quote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday.
“I call my power back to me. I call my energy back to me. I call my magic back to me,” the quote stated. “I am cleansed and disconnected from anything that may drain me. I am shielded from any energy that does not serve me.”
The quote continued, “I am safe. I am protected. I am whole. And so it is.”
She captioned the post, writing, “And it is so.”
In another Instagram Story, she reposted an image of the Virgin Mary holding prayer beads. She also shared a photo of her with Cantin, whom she married in 2017, as well as her with her 28-year-old daughter Alexia.
Her then-boyfriend Cantin was left battered and bruised after Lucchese crime family member John Perna used a slapjack to physically assault him in the parking lot of a North Jersey strip mall in 2015.
Prosecutors accused Tommy of hiring John, the son of former mob boss Ralph Perna, because he was “outraged that his former wife became romantically involved with another man.”
Shortly after the violent incident occurred, Tommy reportedly paid John with a discounted wedding reception at his Paterson, N.J. catering hall, The Brownstone.
John pleaded guilty to committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity and served three years in prison until his 2023 release. Meanwhile, Tommy remained free on bail.
Tommy had been charged for his crimes in a 2020 indictment but got the charges tossed this March after arguing his rights under the Speedy Trial Act had been violated because prosecutors took to long to start the trial.
The judge agreed to dismiss the case without prejudice, meaning the feds could still indict him. A few weeks later, a three-count indictment with new charges was filed against him.
On Tuesday, Dina finally saw some justice served when a federal grand jury found Tommy guilty of conspiracy, falsifying and concealing documents and committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity over the incident.
He is facing up to 46 years in prison and a $500,000 fine and his sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 15.
