Kanye West’s $2.2 million ranch in Los Angeles has been left in shambles for more than a year.
The 320-acre property in Calabasas, Calif., appears completely vacant and abandoned in aerial photos taken Monday and obtained by Pvnew.
Parts of the main house’s roof and the front entrance are completely torn down, with trees and leaves poking through the crevices of the construction.

The estate reportedly was once used as West’s headquarters for Sunday Service and Donda Academy.
However, a February 2023 report shows the ranch was in a similar condition then to the current photos.
It’s unclear why West has not made progress on the property in more than a year and whether he has any plans to fix the development anytime soon.
In recent months, he’s been spending a lot of time traveling the world with his scantily clad-wife, Bianca Censori. However, when they are in the US, they reportedly pay $20,000 a month for a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom penthouse in West Hollywood, Calif.
West’s reps did not immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
The “All Falls Down” rapper seems to have a penchant, though, for purchasing properties and then jumping ship before the flipping process has been completed.
In December 2023, West put his Malibu, Calif., beachfront home up for sale for $53 million after reportedly failing to turn it into a bomb shelter.
The Yeezy CEO had bought the property two years prior for $57 million, but broker and “Selling Sunset” star Jason Oppenheim — who listed the home — previously said the asking price was justified because of the cost of installing new finishes and removing the home’s interiors.
However, Ye dropped the price to $39 million in April.
West reportedly had the home’s windows and electricity removed to resemble a “bomb shelter from the 1910s,” prompting a lawsuit from the remodel’s project manager Tony Saxon for labor code violations.
Saxon’s lawyer said in a statement at the time, “We’re happy to see Kanye has put his Malibu home up for sale and are hopeful this is a step toward him paying the more than $1 million he still owes our client.
“Tony worked as the construction project manager and 24/7 security guard when Kanye was having the home gutted, and Kanye put him through hell, violating numerous labor codes and employment laws in the process. This house was ‘a Picasso on the water’ before Kanye ordered Tony to rip it apart.”
In December 2021, West invested $4.5 million in a five-bedroom, four-bathroom house in Hidden Hills, Calif., that is right across from the home his ex-wife Kim Kardashian owns.
It was reported at the same time that the “Power” rapper planned to use the house as a “teardown,” with a source telling People that West only bought it because of its location and proximity to his four kids.
The insider further claimed, “He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP.”
After West, 46, and Kardashian, 43, settled their divorce in November 2022, the Grammy winner got to keep the property he bought amid his split. The progress of those construction plans also remain unclear.
