Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex-girlfriend Jen Harley is in another legal dispute following the arrest of her current boyfriend, Joe Ambrosole, for domestic violence.
Court documents, obtained by Pvnew exclusively, state that Ambrosole filed a petition for paternity on April 22 in an attempt to prevent Harley from leaving the country with their 6-month-old son, Jayden, after she allegedly “absconded” to Las Vegas with the baby “without notice.”
Harley, 36, divides her time between Miami and Vegas as a real estate agent.

The documents further state that Harley obtained a “stay away order” against Ambrosole after he was arrested for domestic violence on April 14. The affidavit for probable cause, obtained by Pvnew, states that Ambrosole got into an altercation with Harley because she wouldn’t share who she was texting while they were trying to be intimate.
The document states Harley claimed her beau “pinned her head down to the bed” before dragging “her down the stairs by her hair” and then allegedly “repeatedly” banged her head against the stove.
She also alleged that Ambrosole banged her head against the refrigerator and dining room wall. The police officers called to the scene by a neighbor note in the document that Harley had “visible injuries” to her face and was bleeding from the back of her head.
Harley also claimed to an officer on the scene that the SEO expert choked her to the point that she “began to black out” — all while allegedly holding a knife to her neck.
Pvnew has confirmed that the investor was booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony domestic battery. He was released on $5,000 bond and has a court hearing set for May 15.
Ambrosole, 36, notes in his filing that he has not had contact with his son since his arrest and claims he tried to “work out a temporary timesharing schedule” for Jayden, but Harley allegedly never responded.
The entrepreneur fears the former reality star will travel with Jayden out of the country because he claims in the court documents that she had plans to travel to London and Turkey to undergo “two different cosmetic surgeries.”
Ambrosole also alleges in the documents that Harley “has a long history of alcohol abuse and has had several stints” at rehab facilities. He mentions Harley’s past arrest for when she “held a loaded pistol” against his head in 2021, which is why, he writes, the “Jersey Shore” star, 38, has primary custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Ariana.
Ambrosole is requesting a temporary timesharing schedule and states he “understands there must be a third party exchange due to the domestic violence allegations.”
Harley’s attorney didn’t immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Ambrosole’s attorney, however, told Pvnew: “Mr. Ambrosole is concerned for the safety and security of his six month old son as he has been prevented from having any contact with his son for the last two weeks. I have made efforts to make arrangements for him to be with his son, and there has been no response. He has filed the Paternity action to enforce his rights as the father of the child.”
