Sources close to Ivanka Trump and her sister-in-law Karlie Kloss are speaking out to tell Pvnew they have a “good relationship,” in a bid to tamp down fresh rumors of a rift between the sisters-in-law.
The supermodel and the Trump scion sparked rumors they are feuding after not being pictured together, or posting any photos of each other, when they both attended the lavish Indian pre-wedding celebrations for the children of two of India’s wealthiest families.
Sources tell Pvnew the pair have been been “tested” during the past eight years of Donald Trump’s Republican reign, and that while they are not “best friends,” they do “get along,” and their relationship is in a good place.
Anant Ambani and his bride-to-be Radhika Merchant hosted a lavish and star-studded party in Jamnagar, Gujarat, earlier this month – complete with a performance from Rhianna, who was reportedly paid $6 million to perform 19 of her hits.
Ivanka, 42, flew out to celebrate with husband Jared Kushner, 43, and daughter Arabella, 12 – while supermodel turned media investor Kloss, 31, also attended with her husband, Jared’s younger brother, financier Joshua Kushner, 38.

However, Ivanka only posted photos with Jared and Arabella, dressed in traditional Indian garb, while separately, Karlie posted dazzling images of the festivities with her husband.
The lack of photos fueled long-running hints about tensions between the two Kushner wives.
Kloss spoke openly about voting against Ivanka’s father Donald Trump in 2016 and announced in advance that she would be voting against him in 2020.
But after rumors of a fresh rift at the Indian celebrations this month, sources close to both sisters-in-law, who now live close together in Miami, Florida, told Pvnew were quick to dispute the claims.
One source told us, “Ivanka and Karlie have a good relationship, they’re in the same family and they spend time at family events together, they also have an overlapping social circle in Miami.
“They may not be best friends, but it’s wide off the mark to say they don’t get along.”
As Trump goes for his second bid at the presidency, a second source told Pvnew, “They have weathered so much and they are still spending time together at family events and social events, they continue to have a good relationship.
“Their relationship has had a pretty good test over the past eight years!”
The rumors of a rift were magnified by the scale of the Indian wedding celebrations which reportedly cost $152 million, with guests including meta billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan Zuckerberg and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Another source said, “There were at least 100 folks from America who flew over to the wedding and everyone overlapped.
“At the end of the day, they are all family.”
Ivanka was believed to be upset when Karlie spoke out during Trump’s time in the Oval Office.
When Kloss married Josh Kushner in 2018 both Jared and Ivanka, who were working in the White House, went to a small family ceremony but avoided a lavish reception in Wyoming which was full of high-profile critics of the then-president. Ivanka welcomed Kloss and called her “sister” in an Instagram post.
But Kloss said before the 2020 election that she would be voting for Joe Biden and posted photos of him online.
Then on January 7, 2020, after Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol, she tweeted her anger, apparently at Trump himself, saying: “Inciting violence is anti-American.”
When one commenter replied, “tell your sister and brother-in-law,” Kloss replied, “I’ve tried.”
Ivanka was a senior advisor in her father’s administration between 2017 and 2021, and also was the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship, while her husband was also a senior aide.
However, both have made clear that they will not be joining her father back in the White House if he gets back into power later this year.
In November 2022, she said in a statement, “I love my father very much. This time around, I’m choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”
She made a rare appearance beside her father on Saturday at a UFC event in Miami.
