Meghan Markle kept things cozy in one of her favorite coats while out to lunch at Los Angeles celeb hotspot Cipriani Beverly Hills on Thursday, where she dined with former Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller — the designer behind her wedding dress.
In photos obtained by Pvnew, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, is seen wearing a tobacco-colored Max Mara Lilia cashmere coat ($6,250), along with a suede Cesta Collective clutch ($490) in a matching shade.
A navy Bleusalt turtleneck ($170), wide-leg Ulla Johnson trousers ($490) , pointy-toed Aquazzura flats and Givenchy aviator sunglasses rounded out her look.

The duchess loves this particular coat so much, she also owns it in black; she wore the darker version at an ice hockey game with Prince Harry in November.
Those aren’t the only two Max Mara toppers in her closet, though; in August, the former “Suits” actress styled her camel-colored Goloso coat ($5,390) with an Hermès shawl ($1,225) and white skinny jeans from frame, according to pictures exclusively obtained by Pvnew at the time.
She accessorized with black-and-tan Chanel slingbacks worth an estimated $1,150, a Givenchy belt ($450), gold Lanvin earrings and a white Goyard tote that retails for $1,650, along with a NuCalm Biosignal Processing Disc on her left wrist.
Markle also owns Max Mara’s classic camel Manuela coat ($3,450), which was was spotted wearing multiple times in 2015 and 2016.
Although the duchess has a penchant for designer duds, however, she still seems to appreciate a good deal.
During a recent visit to Canada, she rocked reasonably priced Blenders Grove sunglasses ($59) while making an appearance at the Invictus Games 2025 One Year to Go event with Prince Harry.
Markle has discussed her relationship with fashion as a royal before she and Harry, 39, stepped down from the palace in 2020, trading a life in the UK for one in her native state of California — where the couple now lives with their son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2.
“To my understanding, you can’t ever wear the same color as [the late Queen Elizabeth II] if there’s a group event, but then you also shouldn’t be wearing the same color as one of the other, more senior members of the family,” she said in Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan” docuseries in 2022.
“So I wore a lot of muted tones, but it also was so I could just blend in. Like, I’m not trying to stand out here,” she elaborated. “So there’s no version of me joining this family and trying to not do everything I could to fit in. I don’t want to embarrass the family.”
