Tori Spelling says she once made ex-husband Dean McDermott a “bronze c—k ring” for their anniversary.
During Tuesday’s episode of her “misSPELLING” podcast, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star revealed some of the gifts she made McDermott, 57, in honor of what would have been their 18th year of marriage.
“I was that girl that took a lot of pride in anniversaries,” she said. “You know me … I’m a DIYer. I’m a crafter to the core. All my kids came out of utero crafting because I made them. So I would always make something for Dean on our wedding anniversary.”

Spelling, 50, always took inspiration from lists of “traditional” and “modern” anniversary gift ideas online, which she would craft herself.
As a producer listed off some of the suggestions such as paper and metal, Spelling’s memory was jogged at the mention of brass.
“Oh, the brass c–k ring was really good that year,” she said. “[I] hammered it. Oh, my God. I’m so talented. I welded it.”
Bronze is typically suggested as a gift during the eighth year of marriage, meaning Spelling likely crafted the sex toy around 2014.
However, the actress quickly changed subjects, delving into some of the other sentimental gifts she made for the “Chopped: Canada” host — including a leather cuff, a personalized valet tray and a wooden bench.
“I went to the lumber yard and got really cool pieces of wood and made the bench, took a stencil and wrote on it ‘I want to grow old with you’ or something,” she explained, beginning to get emotional. “It was supposed to be a bench for two and the inspiration behind it was, you know, you see those cute old couples sitting on a bench,” she continued.
The podcast host, who built the piece herself, said she even engraved the pair’s wedding date onto the legs of the bench.
However, Spelling revealed that the “sturdy” bench eventually “broke.”
“I put too much emotional symbolism and placement in adamant objects,” she said, noting that she views the bench as a metaphor for their marriage.
Although both she and McDermott knew the bench needed to be “fixed,” they never put any effort into it until it was too worn to repair.
Spelling still has all the pieces of the bench, which she plans to “burn” as “a symbol of letting go of the past.”
The “90210” star filed for divorce from McDermott in March 2024 — nine months after they officially separated.
Spelling shocked her podcast listeners by calling her ex in the middle of an episode to tell him she filed to terminate their union.
“In all honesty after this whole journey, if it’s about … who files first, the other person is wrong, I feel like I deserve to file first then,” she told him over the phone.
Although most of McDermott’s response was bleeped out, the pair ended the call on good terms, concluding the call with, “Love you.”
Spelling and McDermott share five children: sons Liam, 17, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7, and daughters Stella, 15, and Hattie, 12.
McDermott is also dad to son Jack, 25, whom he shares with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace. However, the father-son duo are not on speaking terms.
