Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Christmas celebrations appear to have taken a more exciting turn following the Chiefs’ loss to the Raiders.
The “Anti-Hero” singer and her parents celebrated the holiday at the tight end’s Kansas City, Mo., house with his father, according to the Daily Mail.
“Seeing their families together on such a special holiday was the best gift ever for Taylor,” a source close to Swift, 34, told the outlet.
“She’s never had this happen before and it made the holiday the most meaningful one for her.”
The insider acknowledged that Kelce, 34, was “bummed” his team didn’t win their game but said he’s “at the point in his career where he does not let this get to him too much and is looking forward to the next game.”
Reps for the couple didn’t immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, was in Philadelphia supporting her son Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles but previously said she would fly to Kanas City after the holiday to spend time with “family, friends and Chiefs fans.”
Before the Christmas Day game kickoff, Swift’s parents were seen mingling with Travis’ father, Ed, in the Chiefs suite.
Both Taylor and her mom looked festive in Santa hats while Scott represented the home team’s colors in a black and red puffer coat.
Although the “Cruel Summer” singer’s brother, Austin, joined his family in the suite, he wasn’t spotted until he was put on full blast on the jumbotron, where he could be seen dressed in a full Santa Claus suit.
It’s unclear if Christmas was the first time Swift’s parents met some of Kelce’s family, but the “Cardigan” singer has spent a fair amount of time with her beau’s parents.
Ed described the singer to People magazine as “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman” whose intelligence “comes through right away,” while Donna told the “Today” show that meeting Swift “was OK.”
“I was in the boxes with her,” she said in October. “It’s another thing that’s amped up my life.”
