Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s new Sussex website slammed for using royal titles, coat of arms

The people are royally pissed.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being roasted online for using their royal titles and the coat of arms on their new website — despite resigning from their duties four years ago.

The couple’s former sites, Sussexroyal and Archewell, had been used to update the public on their philanthropic endeavors.

But now both pages redirect visitors to the newly launched Sussex, which reads, “The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan The Duke and Duchess of Sussex” beneath the coat of arms of the United Kingdom.

Several critics took to social media to call out the pair for “clinging” onto their past life after leaving the UK and moving to Montecito, Calif., in 2020, where they live with their two kids, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

“Harry and Meghan are *still* branding themselves as ‘the Sussexes,'” one royalist tweeted. “They abandoned their duty to this country, insulted our people and history, mocked our traditions & undermined our monarchy. The brass to keep parasitising off this title!”

“Perfect summary of these two grasping title clingons!” a second person responded.

“Strip the grifters of their titles, it’s long overdue,” a netizen wrote.

“Umm, these two nincompoops do realize they are not ‘Sussex,’ right? The gall of buying http://Sussex, and including a royal crest, though they hate the royals, is ridiculous,” another tweeted.

“The registration of http://Sussex is a new low even for our world-class grifters. When all else fails, let’s just go back to merching our Royal links. The Royal Family must be aghast at this crass commercialization of their millennium-old monarchy.” one more added.

Others, however, defended the renegade royal and his wife, claiming that they have every right to use their titles on their own website however they wish.

“They remain the Duke & Duchess of Sussex. It is their title, until somebody somewhere decides otherwise,” a fan pointed out.

“Yes it’s a title given to them by the Queen. They were hounded out of the country by the vitriol in the press … I’m British, they didn’t insult me, my history, or my traditions,” a second defender wrote.

Several netizens slammed the couple for including the coat of arms on their website despite abandoning their royal duties in 2020.

“They literally are the Sussexes though. Unless you disagree with the Royal Family?” another chimed in.

A source close to the couple agreed, telling the Daily Mail Monday, “Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That is a fact. It is their surname and family name.”

Their sparkly new website includes fresh photos of Harry, 39, and Markle, 42, as well as bios describing their advocacy and charity work.

Markle’s profile describes her as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equality” and mentions her role in “Suits” as well as her now-defunct lifestyle website, The Tig.

Meanwhile, Harry’s bio describes his military service and details how he founded the Invictus Games and was named chief impact officer of BetterUp.

The website also has pages dedicated to their nonprofit work, including their Archewell Foundation.

The URL revamp could signal the start of the Sussexes’ rumored plan for a Hollywood comeback.

Markle launched an Instagram account last August (though she has yet to post anything) and signed on with Hollywood agency WME in April 2023.

The pair have been estranged from the royal family since leaving their roles. They have since gone on several scathing rants about the monarchy in several interviews and in their 2022 Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan.”

Harry also went after his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William, in his memoir “Spare.”

However, Harry may be mending his relationship with Charles. While he has kept his distance from the UK, the duke jetted off to visit his dad, 75, at Clarence House last week after Buckingham Palace announced that the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.

Markle did not tag along for the brief visit, and Harry did not see the Prince of Wales, 41, while in town — further fueling chatter that the brothers are far from burying the hatchet.
