once a cheater, not always a cheater.
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor denied that the reason behind their split was because the latter had cheated on his wife of almost five years.
The rumors of his infidelity surfaced on Tuesday’s episode of “Vanderpump Rules” where Lala Kent, Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay claimed he was still “running around town.”

However, Taylor quickly pointed the finger at Maloney for spewing the rumors.
“Katie loves to f–king just start s–t. That’s what she does,” Taylor, 44, told his former best friends, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, during Tuesday’s “Vanderpump Rules After Show” episode.
“She plays at home and she sees something on her phone on Reddit, and she will start the rumor mill. That’s what she does,” he continued. “She’s spreading all kinds of s–t.”
The rumors kicked off after Taylor made an appearance at a nightclub in Atlantic City, N.J. in June 2023. At the time, the former bartender, who has been a notorious cheater throughout his reality TV career, fueled speculation after he allegedly followed a bottle-service girl from the event on social media.
He also turned heads when a photo of him smiling with another woman at the event was shared online. Taylor also addressed the snapshot during the aftershow.
“I had a job in Atlantic City. The lady who hires me, she takes pictures with everybody. Any kind of celebrity that comes in takes photos with the person who runs it. That is normal,” he argued.
During the after-show, Cartwright also cleared her estranged husband’s name and debunked the rumors after her own investigation.
“We went and found all the photos [and] figured it out,” she recalled. “It was a girl he was doing a job with, and it was the bar owner’s wife or whatever who was also there. And the husband was there too.”

Although Cartwright was happy to clear Taylor’s name, she didn’t hold back when criticizing him amid their separation earlier in the month.
After announcing on their podcast that they were “taking time apart,” the mother of one blasted her ex by telling TMZ that he was “not really trying” to make their relationship last.
“I’ve asked him for a while to do certain things and nothing has come from that,” she bluntly stated.
“Whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there’s only so much you can take, and you know, I deserve better, [our 2-year-old son] Cruz deserves better.”
She continued, “We want, like, a good co-parenting relationship and I think that me moving out and taking space to figure out if this is what I want is, like, the best situation for me right now.”
She also moved out of their Los Angeles home and dropped his last name from her Instagram bio.
Although Taylor cheated on Cartwright with former SUR waitress Faith Stowers during their time on “VPR,” the pair got married in 2019.
They exited the show in 2020 and welcomed their son in April 2021.
They star in the upcoming “VPR” spinoff, “The Valley,” which premieres next week on March 19.
Page Six confirmed cameras began rolling again after Cartwright and Taylor announced their separation.
