He’s not movin’ out just yet.

Billy Joel assured fellow Long Islanders he is not leaving New York for good despite listing his Oyster Bay mansion for $49 million.

During his New Year’s Eve concert at UBS Arena in Elmont, the legendary Piano Man took a moment to address the news that he put his 26-acre waterfront estate on the market.

“Just because I’m selling that house doesn’t mean I’m leaving Long Island. I still have a house on Long Island,” he told the audience Sunday night, referring to his recently renovated summer home in Sag Harbor.

Joel, 74, then cracked a joke about why he is offloading his longtime manse in the village of Centre Island, saying, “I’m just gonna spend a little more time in Florida like old Jewish guys from Long Island do.”

The “Uptown Girl” singer acknowledged his asking price is steep, adding with a laugh that “nobody” will want to buy his five-bedroom, eight-bathroom manor, which is named Middlesea.

The Post confirmed in May 2023 that Joel had listed his sprawling North Shore house after spending the past few years restoring it with the intention to sell.

The Grammy winner purchased the property in 2002 for $22.5 million.

Joel temporarily pulled the home off the market late last year, explaining at Sunday’s show that he is still waiting for renovations to be completed before he parts ways with it.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member already owns a residence in Manalapan, Fla., though he reportedly has been eyeing other properties in the Sunshine State ahead of his move down South.

Joel’s performance at Belmont Park’s UBS Arena — which ran from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. and included a confetti-filled rendition of “Auld Lang Syne” at midnight — came in the midst of his record-breaking 10-year residency at Madison Square Garden, which will conclude in July.
