Mariah Carey was all smiles in Aspen, Colo., after her ex Bryan Tanaka confirmed they called it quits.
The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” hitmaker grinned ear to ear while sporting a black Chanel vest over a star-printed sweater during her daytime stroll on Tuesday.
Carey completed her all-black fit with matching pants, leg warmers and heeled boots.
The newly single mother of two — who shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex Nick Cannon — appeared to be especially carefree following her split from Tanaka.
Last week, Pvnew exclusively reported that the longtime couple parted ways due to differing desires for their futures.
“He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at,” an insider told us.
Our source also shared that the age gap between Carey, 54, and Tanaka, 40, played a role in their breakup.
A separate source added that the backup dancer wanted “to start having his own life.”
On Tuesday, Tanaka took to social media to confirm they had parted ways after seven years together.
“With mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together,” he wrote in a statement posted to Instagram.
“Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound requests and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared.”
Tanaka, who does not have children of his own, also gushed over the Grammy winner’s 12-year-old twins, writing that their “warmth and kindness” had “enriched [his] life in ways words cannot capture.”
Rumors of trouble in paradise first began to swirl last month when the singer hit the stage without Tanaka for her “Merry Christmas One and All!” shows at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland, Calif.
The dancer has been a staple on her tours since 2006.
Carey only appeared to fuel the flames when she arrived in Aspen last week for her annual holiday getaway without her longtime beau. She has yet to publicly address the breakup.
