Meadow Walker, the daughter of late “Fast & Furious” leading man Paul Walker, has announced her separation from husband Louis Thornton-Allan after just two years of marriage.
Taking to social media Wednesday night, the 25-year-old said the split was a “united decision” as she shared a joint statement on behalf of the now-former pair.
“After three [sic] wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate,” the model wrote in an Instagram post shared with her 4 million followers.
“This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.”
The pair had tied the knot on a beach in the Dominican Republic in October 2021.
Meadow’s godfather — and her dad’s “Fast & Furious” co-star, Vin Diesel — walked her down the aisle in his place.
Paul, who was best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the action franchise, died in a car crash in November 2013. He was 40 years old.
Meadow — his only child — was just 15 at the time of the tragic accident.
The model previously opened up to Vogue about her nuptials, saying the pandemic forced the pair to think outside the box when it came to wedding planning.
“The pandemic impacted our plans,” she told Vogue in 2021. “Louis’s family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions.”
It was Meadow’s aunt Paloma who helped to get the ball rolling on wedding planning.
“She did an incredible job,” she told the outlet. “We couldn’t have imagined it to be any more perfect and personal — and honestly it was easy and simple. Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start. It was a very intimate celebration.”
Back in August 2021, Meadow confirmed her engagement to the actor with an Instagram video showing off her ring while going for a swim.
It’s unclear how long the pair had dated before their engagement, but they became Instagram official in July 2021.
