“Real Housewives of Orange County” fans were shocked and appalled when Tamra Judge told Bravo boss Andy Cohen to “f–k off” and “be quiet” during the Season 17 reunion.
Judge, who returned to the reality series following a two-season hiatus, lashed out at the ladies’ moderator on Wednesday night’s second and final part of the explosive reunion.
Judge and co-star Heather Dubrow were going back and forth about which of the two had called their castmates “losers” when Cohen chimed in to remind the former that she “had said terrible things about everyone that was still on the show when [she wasn’t] on the show.”
Judge, 56, fired back, “We’re not talking about that, so f–k off!” as cameras panned to capture her co-stars’ stunned faces.
“But, I mean, it’s a double standard,” Cohen, 55, replied calmly, to which Judge asked, “Why are you trying to throw a wrench in it?”
“Well, because, I’m just pointing out that you were calling them losers,” he explained.
“Right,” the former CUT Fitness owner responded. “And because she [Dubrow] said it, it’s OK?”
“No,” the show exec admitted, prompting Judge to retort, “OK then, be quiet!”
Cohen let out a simple, “Oh,” as Judge’s castmates sat in silent disbelief.
Viewers of the episode, however, were not so quiet about the cringeworthy moment, as many online said they “audibly gasped” watching the exchange.
“I think Tamra is classless and ignorant. And she should be grateful to be back,” one of several social media users commented. “To speak to Andy that way is just disrespectful and entitled. While also not taking accountability for her actions.”
Someone else remarked, “She treated Andy the way she treats everyone else. … I’m surprised he didn’t come back at her. Will she be back after that is the question.”
Another called Judge’s behavior “really inappropriate” and wondered, “In what industry is it ok to talk to your superior that way?”
“If i spoke to my boss like that,” another netizen noted, “id be fired.”
Reps for Cohen did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
