Kyle Richards isn’t afraid to admit her separation from Mauricio Umansky has been tough.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 54, got candid about the situation during an Amazon Live Wednesday when a fan asked about her new relationship status.
“That’s a very loaded question,” the reality TV star began.
“This has been very hard to do [because] it’s playing out with so many people having eyes on us and being in the public eye.”
The mother of four, who is currently on a European getaway with her estranged husband, said the pair still has a lot of love for each other.
“Obviously, we care about each other a lot,” she said. “You know, here we are on vacation.”
Her comments come one week after the former couple posed for a family photo with their children while vacationing on a yacht in Italy.
The duo was all smiles with their daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, as well as the Richards’ daughter Farrah Brittany, 34, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
“Last night in Positano,” Sophia captioned the Instagram post featuring the snap.
News of Richards’ split from Umansky broke in July. At the time, the pair released a joint statement, admitting they were having a “challenging” year.
“We both love and respect each other tremendously. … There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” they said.
Since their separation, the Bravo power couple — who were married for 27 years — have been putting on a united front while co-parenting, and even spent the Fourth of July together.
Umansky, 53, later gushed over Richards’ steamy music video with country singer Morgan Wade.
While the “RHOBH” star has insisted she’s “just friends” with the 28-year-old musician rumors have continued to fly about their possible romantic connection.
Wade’s latest music video for her hit song “Fall in Love With Me” shows the two nearly kissing.
The pair also fed each other fruit and sat in a bubble bath together, which they said was to “poke fun” at the dating speculation.
“If they’re gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about,” Richards said in behind-the-scenes footage.
Wade agreed, adding, “We thought it would be a good idea kind of to … troll the trolls a little bit.”
