Her spidey senses are tingling.
Dakota Johnson took a page from Margot Robbie’s playbook while attending the Vogue Brazil Ball in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, taking inspiration from her new movie “Madame Web” by wearing a very on-the-nose spiderweb dress at the bash.
While the “Barbie” star has been rocking plenty of doll-inspired creations to promote her film, Johnson, 34, went for a web-like look to give a shout-out to her character in the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff.
Her sheer gown was a custom version of the Annie’s Ibiza Cobweb Midi Dress ($2,373), which features glittering crystals “resembling dewdrops on a spider’s web in the morning sun,” per the brand.
The black silk mesh design is completely see-through, with Johnson — who hosted “SNL” last month — wearing a black thong underneath.
She paired the hand-beaded creation with a matching sheer black veil that draped gracefully over her shoulders and included a huge spider web design on the back.
The “Persuasion” actress wore a glowing beauty look featuring a berry lip, soft pink blush and full lashes, going jewelry-free except for a spider-shaped statement ring.
Johnson finished off the spider-themed look with strappy black sandals.
The look is reminiscent of one Zendaya wore in 2021 for the Los Angeles premiere of “Spiderman: No Way Home,” when the star stunned in a plunging Valentino gown covered in cobwebs and accessorized with a couture eye mask.
Johnson joins the superhero world in the new Marvel movie, which will hit theaters on Feb. 14 and follows a woman with psychic powers named Cassandra Webb.
She kept the dark and mysterious vibes going with a black skirt suit at a January photocall for the movie, wearing a cropped black blazer and pencil skirt as she posed for photographers.
With the movie’s official premiere still to come, we have a feeling this star will weave another spider-themed look into her wardrobe.
