She eats more than just lettuce.
Cameron Diaz shared how she prepares her favorite snack of rotisserie chicken nachos in a new cooking video — months after showing off her fridge filled with just salads and wine.
“Hi is Cameron, it’s moi! Welcome back to my kitchen,” Diaz, 51, said in the video shared to her Avaline Wine Instagram account on Thursday.
“Today I’m gonna be making you nachos with chicken, zucchini and corn, and a cilantro cream.”
The “Charlie’s Angels” star explained that she will pair the “easy and organic” one-sheet pan meal with Avaline‘s white blend.
“It’s a very crisp, dry white that goes perfectly with any good food,” she said, adding, “The way the citrus notes work together with the cilantro cream? Delicioso!”
Dressed in a casual gray sweater and cozy white sweatpants, Diaz was fresh-faced with minimal makeup and slicked-back hair as she whipped up a batch of garlicky cilantro crema and sautéed green and yellow courgettes.
“I suggest getting a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store that’s already pre-cooked and then just taking it off the bone, kind of like in a shredded situation,” she said, offering a time-saving hack for the protein-packed snack.
She then proceeded to roast corn directly on the flames of her stove until the cob was completely charred.
once everything was properly seasoned, Diaz layered chips evenly on a baking tray, joking that she’s “about equality.”
“I want these chips to enjoy being the perfect bite,” she said, adding, “I believe in cheese, before and after.”
once the chips were layered to her liking, she baked the dish, layered on some more toppings, and dug right in.
“Ok, I’m not waiting anymore. Those girls aren’t here and I’m gonna eat this,” she said, lunging for a fistful of loaded chips, possibly referring to her daughter Raddix, 3, and the little girl’s friends.
The “There’s Something about Mary” star chewed in blissful silence before adding, “There’s so much happening in there, it makes me weep. Like, I could cry.”
The actress completed her snack with a glass of her white wine before telling fans, “I’m going to go eat all of this.”
While many of Diaz’s fans commented about how great she looked and how delicious her snack appeared to be, others criticized her cooking technique.
“You need to wash that cilantro or you eating sand
