Clayton Echard believes “the truth will set [him] free” as he faces a paternity lawsuit.
The former “Bachelor” posted a screenshot of a receipt to his Instagram Story on Thursday, showing he allegedly made a $725 payment on Sept. 21 for a paternity test.
He also shared an e-mail, reading, “Thanks for the call. My confusion has been cleared up. I will take my portion of the test on the 27th of September.
“[Redacted] will take her portion on the 2nd of October,” the 30-year-old continued. “Results will then take about a week to get back. I believe we’re all on the same page now.”
The former reality star wrote over the social media upload that “this is the timeline” and “the truth will set you free.”
In a subsequent slide, Echard claimed, “I’ve been notified (and have /confirm/ied) that there are other individuals out there with nearly identical accusations being made against them by the exact same person. Some of the court cases are still publicly accessible and active.”
The woman, however, alleges to Pvnew that Echard is referring to “restraining orders from 2021 and 2022 against the same man” in an attempt “to mislead people.”
While denying having a paternity case against anyone else, she notes, “Even if I had 15 … it wouldn’t change the facts or purpose of this case, which is solely about being pregnant with his children.
“I’ve asked for no money from him … besides court-mandated child support,” she claims. “I just wanted to give him the opportunity to be involved.”
The former ABC personality’s posts came three days after news broke that he was sued in August by an anonymous 33-year-old podcast host who claimed he “refused” to take a paternity test.
The woman alleged she “engaged in sexual activity” with Echard in May and is expecting twin babies in February, according to court documents obtained and reviewed by Pvnew.

She went on to accuse the former athlete of sending her “erratic, illogical and threatening messages” about her pregnancy, followed by “periods of silence” and him demanding that she provide “alternative forms of proof of pregnancy beyond the medical report” she gave.
The duo are both due in court for an early resolution conference on Sept. 28.
While the ex football player had no comment when Pvnew reached out to him, he did speak to the Sun on Monday about the woman’s “groundless” claims, alleging they “never had intercourse.”
He accused her of “harassing” him in “obsessive” attempts to date him.
Echard is best known for his time with Bachelor Nation, which began in 2021 when he competed for Michelle Young’s heart on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette.” He returned as the show’s “Bachelor” lead the following year.
