“Below Deck Down Under” star Captain Jason Chambers made some romantic “connections” at BravoCon 2022, his castmate Aesha Scott says — but the hunky reality star isn’t ready to reveal who caught his eye quite yet.
“There was some conversations after BravoCon with one or two people that we met,” Chambers teases on Pvnew’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“But it wasn’t much of a sliding [into the DMs]. It was more of a catch-up, but nothing’s come to fruition.”
Although sparks apparently flew between Chambers and others during the three-day fan convention held at New York City’s Javits Center last October, he asserts today, “I am single.”
Scott — Chambers’ chief stew helping him steer a partially new crew aboard the Northern Sun vessel in “BDDU” Season 2 — tells us that she bore witness to her boss mingling with “someone very closely related to a ‘Housewife.’”
Though she wouldn’t say who the mystery woman was, Scott shut down guesses that Chambers mingled with “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Margaret Josephs’ good pal Lexi Barbuto or Lala Kent, a former SUR employee of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Vanderpump.
“I feel like I would be betraying him if I stated who it was,” she says, expressing her loyalty.
While Chambers — who shares daughter Saskia, 8, with ex Fuchsia Quinn — is still on the market, Scott says “women just throw themselves” at the handsome, Speedo-loving Australian, whom the latter has dubbed “Captain Cutie.”
“He would not have to work very hard to find someone to go on a date with,” gushes Scott, who is dating beau Scotty Dobbo.
“I just really want him to find someone because he’s so in love with his daughter. He’s such a good man.”
“Below Deck Down Under” premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
