This is an SOS.
Joe Jonas revealed that he once had to make a “mid-wardrobe s–t change” because he pooped his white pants during a show.
The Jonas Brothers singer, 33, detailed his bathroom mishap, which happened “about four years ago,” on Friday’s episode of the “Will & Woody” podcast.
“I think it might’ve been a little toot, might’ve been something else, something a little extra,” he laughed. “So it was a, like, mid-wardrobe sh-t change during the set.”
To make matters worse, Jonas was wearing a light-colored outfit when his bowels betrayed him.
“Let’s just say it was a bad day to wear white clothing,” he said.
The “Sucker” crooner joked that he has been “able to work through” the trauma of pooping his pants on stage “with a lot of therapy.”
While Jonas did not reveal the exact show where the accident occurred — or whether his brothers Nick and Kevin knew about it — he did say eagle-eyed fans may be able to figure it out.
“If you go in the archives, there is a wardrobe change halfway through a show and it’s a little bit like, that’s a bit interesting choice to change clothes that quickly,” he explained.
The DNCE frontman can joke about the incident now, but remembers worrying someone would figure out what happened at the time.
“It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. Such is life,” he said. “It has happened to many artists. I’ve paid my dues and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now.”
And a “secret club” it is, indeed.
Some other A-listers who have admitted to defecating in their pants include Chris Brown and Ed Sheeran.
“The crowd didn’t know it, and I had like an outfit change coming up, so I said, ‘Yeah, I can hold it out one more song,’ Brown recalled on an episode of MTV’s “When I was 17” in 2011.
“And this is real disgusting and too descriptive… I just remember it running down my leg,” he said.
Sheeran, now 32, had a similar not-so-“Perfect” experience, divulging in 2015 that he once “misjudged a fart on stage, which ended up being a shart.”
“It was like midway through a performance and I was really lively and halfway through, I was like, ‘I’m just gonna stand still for the rest of this performance and hope it’s over soon,’ and then go home and throw these trousers out,” he said on Australian radio station Nova.
Other celebrities to defecate in public include Jenny McCarthy, Al Roker and Jennifer Lawrence.
