Troubled TV star Bam Margera has reportedly cut his latest rehab stint short amid plans to go to Sin City.
The “Jackass” alum had been getting help at a detox center in San Diego, Calif. — where Lamar Odom previously sought treatment — but “didn’t want to complete the program,” sources with knowledge of the situation told TMZ Saturday.
Margera reportedly left the facility earlier this week and told friends he wanted to spend the weekend in Las Vegas.
It is unclear if the “Viva La Bam” alum actually made it to Nevada. He was last seen in public on Thursday, when he took his girlfriend, Jessica, to eat at Nobu in Malibu, Calif.
Margera appeared in photos at the time to be in good spirits and even gave a thumbs up to the paparazzi.
According to TMZ, that outing took place after the former pro skateboarder “bolted” Odom’s home in Calabasas, Calif., where the ex-NBA star, 43, had been “continuing to encourage” him to detox at the Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
Despite the former pro baller’s best efforts, Margera reportedly took off anyway.
The “Jackass: The Movie” star has not posted any social media updates recently. His reps did not immediately return Pvnew’s request for comment.
Margera has been struggling with addiction and mental health issues for years, and has been in and out of rehab as a result.
Earlier this month, he was reportedly placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold.
Margera had allegedly been acting erratically and slurring his speech while at at Trejo’s Tacos, a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Two months prior, the father of one turned himself into police after they issued an arrest warrant due to him getting into a “physical altercation” with his brother Jess Margera.
His attorney Michael van der Veen told Pvnew at the time that his client entered a plea of not guilty” and would be undergoing a drug and alcohol evaluation as “many defendants have to [do] when out on bail.”
Bam himself then pledged to stop drinking for the sake of his 5-year-old son, Phoenix, whom he shares with estranged wife Nicole Boyd.
The MTV alum has been in a custody battle with the mother of his child for some time. Boyd is seeking $15,000 a month in child support.
This month, the graphic designer claimed Bam had been sending her “abusive” texts during his 5150 hold. Her attorney said at the time that they hoped the reality star’s stay at Odom’s facility would help him “take responsibility.”
