Bam Margera looked happy and healthy in his first public sighting since his psychiatric hospitalization.
The former “Jackass” star was photographed flashing a thumbs up as he took his girlfriend, Jessica, to Nobu in Malibu, Calif., Thursday afternoon.
For the outing, Margera, 43, opted for an all-black ensemble, pairing a graphic T-shirt with faded jeans and rugged sneakers.
He completed the look with various chains around his neck and his signature cigarette in hand.
Jessica, for her part, sported a black bralette and matching shorts under an oversized denim jacket. She also wore nude platform sandals.
Margera was placed on an involuntary, 72-hour hold earlier this month after cops found him slurring his speech and behaving erratically at Trejo’s Tacos, a Los Angeles restaurant owned by Danny Trejo.
In conjunction with his public suicide threats, his behavior was deemed concerning enough that the officers called in psychiatric evaluation experts, who ultimately decided that a 5150 was necessary.
His older brother, Jess Margera, later told Pvnew that he had requested a wellness check on Bam after the “Viva La Bam” alum called their parents and shared some “really dark suicidal stuff.”
Days prior, Bam had threatened in a since-deleted Instagram video that he was going to “smoke crack with the bums down at the f–king boardwalk until I’m dead” unless he got to see his son, 5-year-old Phoenix, whom he shares with estranged wife Nicole “Nikki” Boyd.
He blamed Boyd and his family for “driving [him] to drink.”
Her attorney, David Glass, responded to the concerning claims, telling TMZ shortly after that “that’s not how the addictions work” because “people’s behavior does not drive others to drink.”
Glass added, “Nikki sincerely hopes that Bam can first achieve and then maintain sobriety for his own good and [then] for the good of their son.”
Boyd filed for legal separation in February, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
She requested legal and physical custody of Phoenix as well as $15,000 per month in child support, plus spousal support in the amount that is due to her under the applicable guidelines for their almost 10-year relationship.
It was later revealed that the model “made the hard choice to protect herself and their son” because she had concerns about the troubled stuntman’s behavior around their child.
In April, Bam — who’s been in and out of rehab for over a decade, including numerous stints last year — swore off drinking and blasted his brother for making “false accusations of me being on meth.”
It’s unclear whether Bam entered Lamar Odom’s treatment facility after his psych hold, but Boyd accused him of sending her “abusive” text messages upon his release.
