Aubrey Plaza has gotten herself a New York City roomie.
The “White Lotus” star, 39, revealed in an interview with Vulture that she’s currently sharing a space with Broadway legend Patti LuPone on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
The three-time Tony Award winner, 74, has been looking after Plaza as she preps for her role in the off-Broadway revival of “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.”
LuPone has made her younger roommate soup and even did her laundry.
“She insisted,” Plaza divulged. “She’s trying to whip me into shape.”
The “Parks and Recreation” alum shared that LuPone has also doled out valuable advice.
She recalled a conversation she had with the Grammy winner after coming down with strep throat shortly before rehearsals began.
“I was like, ‘Why is this happening?'” she recalled. “Patti went, ‘It’s happening because you have to toughen up.'”
The unlikely roommates will also co-star in the upcoming series “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.”
LuPone is famous for her ferocious work ethic and no-nonsense attitude towards Broadway audiences.
Plaza will star opposite “Girls” alum Christopher Abbott in the revival of the John Patrick Shanley drama, in which she plays Roberta, a divorcée with a teenage son.
She announced her casting in an Instagram post in July.
“couldnt be in better hands for my first time on stage… and timing couldn’t be stranger… oh well here we go. 10 weeks only. this fall in the west village,” she wrote at the time.
The comments section was filled with supportive messages from celebs like Rachel Bilson, Vanessa Hudgens and Brett Gelman.
“Holy s–t what a great play for tou [sic],” Plaza’s “Parks and Recreation” co-star Nick Offerman wrote.
“Yesss!!!” added Lea Michele.
“Danny and the Deep Blue Sea” is set to open Nov. 13 and run until Jan. 7.
