Ivanka Trump took the stand during dad Donald’s civil fraud trial in New York City Wednesday, dressed in a look that was equal parts low-key and high-end.
The former first daughter, 42, went for a monochromatic look for her court appearance, selecting a navy blue blazer ($1,490) and matching pants ($790) from Another Tomorrow along with a classic white shirt and navy suede Jimmy Choo pumps ($750).
She topped off her outfit with a classic Carolina Herrera coat in the same color, a piece that’s been in her closet since 2017 and is easily worth four figures on its own.
She finished the look with her go-to Chanel tote, which sells for almost $2,500 on the resale market.
Ivanka wore her blond hair in soft waves with a middle part, and kept her makeup minimal and bronzed.
While she may have looked polished, Donald Trump’s daughter took the stand begrudgingly as she claims she had no role in her father’s business dealings despite her previous role as vice president of the Trump Organization.
She tried unsuccessfully to get out of testifying during the $250 million trial, which also includes her brothers Don Jr. and Eric.
“I’m not involved. I didn’t know anything about it,” Ivanka said at the Manhattan Supreme Court when asked about Donald Trump’s “statements of financial condition.”
A source familiar with the Trump family previously told Pvnew that Donald was “pissed” about his children’s involvement, saying, “What you aren’t hearing in court is how upset and agitated [Donald Trump] is that his children have been dragged into court. He feels it’s another move to upset him.”
The source elaborated, “This is causing problems with Ivanka who has worked hard to stay under the radar for last two-ish years, and is bracing herself for the press and paparazzi who will pounce on her at court.”
