Brynn Whitfield is setting the record straight about her rumored romance with “Southern Charm” star Austen Kroll after a photo of them posing together at BravoCon went viral.
“Not dating Austen, [but] he’s very sweet,” the “RHONY” star, 36, told Pvnew exclusively on Tuesday night, at the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year gala.
“We’re not filming [‘RHONY’] anymore, so if I can’t stir the pot in New York anymore, I’ve got to stir the pot in Charleston,” she sarcastically joked, referring to Kroll’s hometown in South Carolina, as she co-hosted the red carpet at the New York City event.
Whitfield cheekily added that she plans on stirring so many pots, she hopes to develop “carpal tunnel from the stirring!”
While Whitfield isn’t dating Kroll, she has previously admitted to having a crush on another “Southern Charm” star.
Last July, during an appearance on “WWHL,” Whitfield confessed that she thought Shep Rose was “cute.”

“When I saw that, I thought it was very flattering,” Rose exclusively told Pvnew after Whitfield’s confession.
The two even began messaging each other on Instagram.
“I sent her a nice message — a very benign nice message — ‘Thank you, look forward to meeting you,’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, me too,’” Rose shared.
“WWHL” host Andy Cohen tried playing matchmaker at Bravocon when Whitfield, Rose and Kroll were all on a panel together.
“You expressed some interest in Shep at some point,” he said to Whitfield before noting her slightly embarrassed face.
“I think we’re really good friends,” she replied.
A video of the moment was later shared on the BravoTV account alongside the caption: “Who do you think is a better match for Brynn Whitfield… Shep Rose or Austen Kroll?!”
