Don’t worry darling: Miss Flo has arrived.
Florence Pugh made her Met Gala debut Monday, arriving on the star-studded red carpet wearing an elaborate Valentino headpiece that showed off her newly shaved head.
Pugh walked the red carpet in a white gown with a plunging neckline and ab-baring cutout featuring a big black bow, plus piles of Tiffany & Co. jewelry — but her enormous headpiece was the real conversation starter.
The “Midsommar” actress, 27, was named the new celebrity face of the fashion house just last week, and dropped hints about her gala attire in a New York Times interview.
“It’s big, but we like big, don’t we?” she asked Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, adding that at the Met, “The idea is to be as bold as possible.”
And Pugh doesn’t care if her look’s not universally loved.
“The whole point is that you are expressing yourself with what you are wearing,” the British beauty said.
“Every time I step out in whatever dress, that’s a version of me that I’m really proud of. So it doesn’t matter if people don’t necessarily like it. I don’t think anything that I do has to be 100 percent loved. Things being up for debate is good. It means people are interested.”

Pugh has certainly courted controversy with her previous Valentino looks.
Last July, she went viral after arriving at the brand’s couture show in Rome wearing a sheer pink gown, later defending the nipple-freeing number on Instagram.
Pugh went on to sport a similarly see-through style at the “Don’t Worry Darling” premiere at the Venice Film Festival, followed by a polarizing punky look at the Oscars that incorporated a pair of itty-bitty hot pants.
