Taylor Swift spent the weekend with Travis Kelce for his birthday, Pvnew can /confirm/i.
The “August” songstress arrived in Kansas City, Mo., from Nashville, Tenn., on Friday to visit the NFL star the day after his 34th birthday.
They opted for a “chill night” before Swift seemingly returned home ahead of the tight end’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, per US Weekly.
The Grammy winner was notably not present at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis after cheering for her new beau at his two previous games.
Kelce still helped bring the Kansas City Chiefs to victory, even though he’s reportedly convinced that his budding romance with the singer has been bringing him good fortune.
“He jokes she is his good luck charm,” a source told The Messenger.
Swift’s absence from Kelce’s birthday celebration came as a surprise to some fans who have been following the pair’s whirlwind relationship in recent weeks.
The football player was photographed on Thursday enjoying a low-key dinner with several pals at the Golden Ox steakhouse in Kansas City.
But even though the athlete and the “Lover” singer, 33, were apart, she was still on his mind during his post-practice press conference the next day.
When asked about his relationship with the music hitmaker, Kelce told reporters, “It feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now I’m even more on top of the world.”
He also confessed that he’s trying to navigate the newfound attention from the media and paparazzi.
“It comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason,” he said. “You just gotta keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”
Earlier this month, an insider revealed that Kelce and Swift’s romance was slowly getting more serious.
“[They] talk every day,” a source told Us Weekly. “Taylor’s really enjoying getting to know Travis. They’re taking it day by day, but she has high hopes.”
The source added that the “Anti-Hero” songstress “decided she’s not going to hide anymore” following her extremely private six-year relationship with ex Joe Alwyn.
Swift sparked dating rumors with the “Catching Kelce” alum last month after he previously admitted he failed to give her a friendship bracelet with his number at her Eras Tour concert in July.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows,” he said on his “New Heights” podcast at the time. “I was a little butthurt.”
Amid their headline-making connection, Kelce has since vowed to keep his personal life private “moving forward.”
