Don’t call it a comeback.
Meghan Markle is reportedly planning her “Hollywood reinvention” with a new team.
A source told Us Weekly Thursday that the Duchess of Sussex, who recently attended her husband Prince Harry’s Invictus Games in Germany, is still “planning her Hollywood reinvention.”
“Meghan has a new team around her,” the insider added, “and they’ve been strategizing about what mediums will have the most impact.”
The source told the outlet that Markle’s next step has “to be rooted in giving back” and “philanthropy” and that she has been in contact with fashion houses and documentary directors.
“There isn’t anything locked in yet, but the most promising [thing] for everyone seems to be Meghan and Harry highlighting important issues through docuseries and bringing attention and fundraising,” the insider explained.
In August, Pvnew exclusively reported that Markle, 42, was planning on making a comeback for the cameras.
We revealed that the “Suits” alum spent the summer finalizing plans for a new money-making venture.
Pvnew also exclusively reported that Markle secured an Instagram account — under the handle @meghan — which has already garnered more than 128,000 followers.
The profile picture for the account is an image of pink flowers and she has not posted anything nor followed anyone.
Additionally, sources told Pvnew that Markle signed a deal with Hollywood agency WME in April to make her a “power player” in the industry.
We were told that the mom of two is expected to make millions from the deal, which had been in the works for months before it was announced.
“The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency & its broader ecosystem, including film & television production, brand partnerships & more,” WME tweeted.
“Even though she is, of course, an actress, this isn’t about movies or shows for Meghan to star in, it is about creating projects for her to produce — she wants to run the show,” a highly placed Hollywood insider told us at the time.
