Travis Kelce’s mom appears to have given Taylor Swift her seal of approval.
Donna Kelce posted a clip to Instagram showing her hugging the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer during Sunday night’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game.
“Travis Kelce’s biggest fans [heart emoji],” read a caption placed over the footage, which was also shared by Sunday Night Football on NBC as a collaborative post with Donna.
The proud mom has spent two back-to-back weekends with Swift, who brought along an entire star-studded posse for the second game, in the suites the team are offered.
“Donna likes Taylor and thinks she’s very sweet and down to earth,” a source told People in a story published Monday.
With cameras on Swift throughout the game, fans got to witness the pop star whisper to close pal Blake Lively, “Look at him,” while watching her beau play.
The Grammy winner, who was rocking her signature red lip, a black long-sleeve shirt, bedazzled Daisy Dukes and Christian Louboutin leather boots, was also caught imitating how Travis, 33, celebrated by hitting his teammates post-win.
Although the tight end and Swift, also 33, drove off together after the first game, the couple departed the MetLife stadium separately this weekend.
An insider told Pvnew that it’s protocol for Kelce – or any Chiefs players – to leave the city right away with the team after an away game and return to Kansas City, Mo.
The “Anti-Hero” singer made her way to exclusive club Zero Bond after the game ended, where she was seen exiting in the early hours of Monday morning with her 31-year-old brother, Austin, and his girlfriend.
“After the game, [the Chiefs] will go right home with the team on the plane,” the insider explained. “Unless Travis can skip that, but likely his team is strict and will make him fly back with them.”
Despite the team’s strict rules, the blossoming couple managed to sneak in a few hours together over the weekend, with Pvnew reporting that the NFL star visited Swift at her Tribeca apartment just hours before the game kicked off.
The night before, Swift and her girl squad invited Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, to dine with them.
