Travis Kelce is putting his team first.
The Kansas City Chiefs player is “focusing on football like he always has” amid his budding romance with Taylor Swift, People reported Monday.
“During the NFL season, his priority is the Chiefs,” a source told the magazine. “It’s all about the team.”
The insider went on to claim that there is “nothing too serious” about Kelce’s connection with the Grammy winner.
The duo are “still just getting to know each other,” according to the source, who added, “He is a charming guy. It’s more of a hanging out situation than dating.”
Swift, 33, attended the tight end’s game against the New York Jets Sunday, one week after she watched the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears.
Not only did the singer cheer from the stands with A-list pals, from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds to Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner, but she bonded with the athlete’s mom, Donna Kelce, again.
“Donna likes Taylor and thinks she’s very sweet and down to earth,” a Kelce family source told People earlier Monday.
Although Swift and Travis, also 33, left this weekend’s MetLife Stadium game separately, the “Catching Kelce” alum was photographed at her apartment earlier that same day.
Since the match, Travis has made headlines for “liking” an Instagram video of Swift’s enthusiastic reactions to the game.
Additionally, lip readers have analyzed a clip of the “Lavender Haze” performer’s flirty comment to Lively, 36, about her rumored beau.
“Look at him,” Swift is believed to have said before imitating Kelce’s congratulatory punches for his teammates.
The pop superstar was last romantically linked to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy from May to June.
Before their fling, Swift was in a six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. News of their split broke in April.
As for Travis, he sought love on “Catching Kelce” in 2016 before dating Kayla Nicole on and off from 2017 to 2022.
The former reality star publicly pursued Swift after watching her Eras Tour concert, saying on his “New Heights” podcast in July that he attempted to give her his number via a beaded bracelet.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows,” he said at the time. “I was a little butthurt.”
Travis has since told listeners that he plans to keep quiet about their connection “moving forward,” explaining, “I want to respect both of our lives. She’s not in the media as much as I am.”
