Coachella may have reignited their spark after all.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are “hanging out again” after reuniting last Friday at the 2023 music festival, a source tells Pvnew.
“They’re enjoying getting reacquainted and seeing where it goes,” the insider tells us exclusively, noting that the exes “care about each other a lot.”
Reps for Mendes and Cabello did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s requests for comment.
The Grammy nominees enjoyed a night out together Wednesday in Los Angeles, where a fan saw them holding hands.
“My friends and I were walking down Santa Monica Blvd. just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night when I looked up from my phone and saw Shawn and Camila walking toward us holding hands,” eyewitness Jessica Rendall tells Pvnew.
“I clearly had a shocked look on my face because Shawn looked at me and smiled because he knew I recognized him. They were deep in conversation and seemed very happy and comfortable together.”
Cabello, 26, has clearly had Mendes, 24, on her mind ever since they were spotted kissing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.
The “Havana” songstress took to Instagram earlier Wednesday to share a teaser of a new song titled “June Gloom,” which includes the lyrics, “Are you coming to Coachella? / If you don’t, it’s whatever / If you do, honey, it’ll be all I think about.”
Earlier this week, a source told us that Mendes and Cabello were not officially “back together.” However, they have “a lot of love and history between them,” according to the insider, so “one thing led to another” during their PDA-filled weekend.
The “Señorita” collaborators previously dated from July 2019 to November 2021.
When they announced their breakup, the pair vowed to “continue to be best friends” and told fans that their “love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”
During their time apart, Mendes was linked to chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda and actress-singer Sabrina Carpenter, though we reported that he never romanced either.
Cabello, for her part, was in a relationship with Lox Club co-founder Austin Kevitch for a few months last year.
