Before Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss came to light, Ariana Madix joked about being in a “throuple” with her then-boyfriend and friend.
The trio cuddled up in a hot tub while in Mexico for Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding in August 2022 in a deleted “Vanderpump Rules” scene that aired Wednesday.
Madix, 37, puckered up for photos in between Sandoval, 40, and Leviss, 28, while topless and covering her chest with her hands in the never-before-seen footage.
When the friend snapping the pictures said he liked Leviss’ white sunglasses and Sandoval’s mustache, the former pageant queen agreed that it was “a vibe.”
However, when she, Sandoval and Madix saw the snaps, Leviss said they could “never surface.”
Madix agreed, “They go nowhere. It’s just us.”
But Sandoval predicted that since the shots were on his phone, they would “go everywhere.”
Madix subsequently swam to the other end of the hot tub, laughing over how much they resembled “a throuple on a romantic getaway” while she was “in nude underwear covering [her] boobs.”

Unbeknownst to Madix, Sandoval and Leviss had already secretly hooked up prior to the destination wedding — and kissed again at the venue, according to Shay’s dress designers, Patrik Simpson and Pol’ Atteu.
The duo’s affair continued for months, with Wednesday’s new episode hinting at the romance after James Kennedy’s girlfriend, Ally Lewber, spotted them out dancing — sans Madix — at 1 a.m.
News of the dalliance didn’t break until March when Madix saw an explicit video of Leviss on Sandoval’s phone.
When Madix addressed the betrayal in an Instagram post two weeks later, she wrote that whatever “doesn’t kill [her] better run.”
The aspiring actress has maintained a busy schedule amid the Scandoval fallout, filming a Lifetime movie in Canada, confronting her co-stars at the Season 10 reunion in a red-hot revenge dress and making out with a new man at Coachella.
Not only did she kiss physical trainer Daniel Wai at the music festival over the weekend, but they shared another smooch when Madix took him to LAX airport Monday.
Sandoval, who said he is “happy” to see his ex moving on, jetted out of California this week to enjoy a nature getaway.
Notably, fans believe the cover band frontman is in Arizona, the same state where Leviss is seeking mental health treatment.
She and Sandoval are currently “taking a break” from their sexual relationship, according to the bar owner’s controversial “Howie Mandel Does Stuff Podcast” appearance earlier this month.
