He’s still singing “Where were you in the morning, baby?”
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are “not back together” despite their PDA-filled reunion at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, a source tells Pvnew.
“Shawn and Camila remain friends with a lot of love and history between them, but they aren’t dating again,” the insider shares.
“They’ve stayed in touch since their breakup and decided to meet up at Coachella since they were both going.”
While the source says “one thing led to another as the night progressed,” we’re told the “Señorita” collaborators’ kiss — which fellow festivalgoers caught on video — was “a one-off.”
Reps for Mendes and Cabello did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s requests for comment.
The former couple’s smooch in Indio, Calif., comes more than a year after they called it quits on their romance.
“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends,” they said in a joint statement in November 2021, adding that their “love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”
Mendes and Cabello had been dating since July 2019 and quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the split, the “In My Blood” crooner, 24, has been linked to chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda and actress-singer Sabrina Carpenter.
However, a source tells us exclusively that Mendes is currently single.
The “Havana” songstress, for her part, briefly dated entrepreneur Austin Kevitch.
Cabello, 26, and Kevitch went their separate ways earlier this year, with him announcing in a newsletter for the Jewish dating app that he co-founded, Lox Club, that he was “single again.”
