The getaway car was just the beginning.
Travis Kelce gave a glimpse of his and Taylor Swift’s future on Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, telling listeners that “moving forward,” he plans to keep his personal life private for her sake.
“I want to respect both of our lives,” the Kansas City Chiefs player, 33, explained. “She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week and having fun during the NFL season on other guys’ shows.
“I’m enjoying life, and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend,” the tight end continued. “Everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports … will kind of have to be where I keep it.”
Kelce did, however, tell listeners about how “amazing” Swift, also 33, looked at his game on Sunday, calling her appearance “ballsy.”
He gushed, “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her, the friends and family. … Everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs.”
Kelce went on to praise the performer’s “slow-motion chest bumps” and “high-fives with” his mom, Donna Kelce, over the weekend.
“Then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end,” Travis recalled. “Shout out for Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage.”
The athlete last spoke about Swift in July when he called her out for not meeting with him at her Eras Tour stop as he attempted to give her his phone number.
“I was disappointed,” he said at the time. “I was a little butthurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
After weeks of subsequent speculation that the duo were “hanging out,” Swift watched Travis’ team beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday — and walked out with the “Catching Kelce” alum.
The pair left Arrowhead Stadium in the same car before attending an afterparty with his teammates and family members at the Prime Social rooftop bar.
“Travis and Taylor left together in an entourage of three vehicles at 1:10 a.m.,” an eyewitness told Pvnew, with Entertainment Tonight reporting that they looked “very affectionate.”
Swift, who has yet to address her rendezvous with Travis, left Missouri solo on Tuesday.
