Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, showed off their toned physiques during on a beach day in Miami on Sunday.
The “Good Will Hunting” actor and his wife of almost 20 years were photographed walking around the warm waters before going in for a casual dip.
The couple stopped to chat while the water rose to their knees and appeared to be in good spirits and smiling.
The “Air” actor, 52, looked to be in great shape, as he showed off his muscles in a pair of black swim trunks. He added a loose necklace and black shades for the outing
Since he wasn’t wearing a shirt, several of his tattoos – including the five names of his daughters and wife – were on full display.
Meanwhile, Barroso, 47, also stunned in a light blue teeny bikini, white trucker hat, gold hoop earrings and aviator sunglasses.
When she wasn’t in her two-piece, she opted for a white tank top and pair of white and light blue joggers.
Damon and Barroso’s four children – his stepdaughter Alexia, 24, and their biological daughters Isabella, 17, Gia, 15, and Stella, 12 – were seemingly not present for the outing.
Miami has a special meaning for the “Martian” actor and his wife, since they met there while she was a bartender and he was in town filming the 2003 movie “Stuck on You.”
In 2018, Barroso told Vogue Australia, that Damon approached her after he saw a “light” shine on her at the bustling nightclub.
“But he had started getting recognized and asked for pictures and autographs, and then it got kind of aggressive because people are drinking and stuff, and so he came and hid behind my bar,” she recalled.
The mom of four requested that he help make cocktails for the guests, to which he complied and even helped make her “a ton of money in tips that night,” because “everyone wanted to go and see him.”
Two years later, the couple said “I do” at an intimate ceremony in December 2005 in New York City.
“I just know I think we both feel, really, really lucky to have met each other so we don’t take that for granted,” she told the outlet. “It’s life and marriage, so there’s ups and downs you know, but overall it’s easy and it’s fun. And he’s such a good dad.”
While the two appear to be happier than ever, Damon recently divulged that they went to couples counseling and “negotiated extensively” about him taking a break from acting, he told Entertainment Weekly in July.
Damon agreed but said his “one caveat” was if director Christopher Nolan called.
The negotiations then all went out the roof when Nolan did end up calling Damon to star in his blockbuster summer film, “Oppenheimer.”
“This [was] without knowing whether or not he was working on anything — because he never tells you; he just calls you out of the blue,” he shared, while adding that it was a “moment in my household.”
