Travis Kelce admitted that he’s trying to get some movie deals after filming with Niecy Nash on Ryan Murphy’s new TV show, “Grotesquerie.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the reveal while addressing a “conspiracy theory” that he landed a role in the “Happy Gilmore” sequel on Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.

“Other than the movie is getting made, and I’m looking for movie deals — that’s about all they got [right],” Travis shared while discussing the rumor.
Travis, 34, added that he “didn’t even know there was a job opening” for the newly announced sequel, but if there is, he’ll “be a f–king extra” or “anything” to star in an Adam Sandler movie.
“Count me in! Obviously, been a huge fan of the Sandman, but yes this is exactly what it says it is –– a conspiracy theory,” he continued.
Jason, 36, seemed slightly disappointed that there was perhaps no truth to the rumor, but he acknowledged that there was “no evidence to support” the theory.
“Who knows? A theory, theories can come true. Theories can be true, and people just don’t know about it. So, I might even be in the talking and nobody knows about it, but I could also not be in the talking,” Travis teased.
The brothers then tried figuring out what role Travis would play in the original blockbuster film, and Travis pointed out that he “did just do a game show” –– referring to his new show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” –– so he could play Bob Barker’s role.
“Oh, you’re not Bob Barker. Let’s be honest,” Jason quickly quipped.
Travis reluctantly agreed and ended the conversation by saying, he would “do anything in the movie” and “be a part of it any way I possibly can.”
Their conversation then evolved into gushing about all of Sandler’s famous films, but Jason got fans’ hearts pumping when he suggested that Travis is similar to Sandler’s role in “The Wedding Singer.”
Fans quickly took to social media to spread the theory that Jason made the comment to hint at a possibility of Travis’ future plans to marry his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Travis and the “Cruel Summer” singer have been officially dating since last July, and fans have been speculating on when they’ll get engaged ever since.
However, both superstars have been busier than ever in their careers. Swift is currently in the midst of the European leg of her Eras Tour, while Travis has been taking on new ventures.
Most recently, he hosted 20,000 fans for his second annual Kelce Jam music festival in Kansas City, Mo.
Prior to that, he joined Nash, 54, to film the new upcoming FX horror series, “Grotesquerie.” Nash shared several goofy videos of the two on set seemingly having a blast, and a source later assured us that they were doing just that.
“They would not stop laughing the entire time they were filming. They have a similar sense of humor and bonded over their joy for life,” a source told us earlier this month.
