Charlie Colin, a former bassist for the band Train, has died. He was 58.

The musician slipped and fell in a shower while house-sitting for a friend in Brussels, his mother told TMZ Wednesday.

It was not immediately clear when the freak accident occurred, as Colin was not discovered until his friend returned home from their trip approximately five days ago.

His grieving mom shared that Colin, who was a founding member of the pop-rock group, had moved to Belgium, where he taught a music master class at a conservatory.

Colin also had been busy recently working in a studio and making music for a film.

The late rocker apparently was quite close with his mother, as his final post on Instagram was dedicated to her.

“My mom… Jackie O/ yet a tad prettier, a true artist the loveliest most intelligent woman,” he captioned a childhood photo of the duo on Mother’s Day on May 12.

Colin, who grew up in Virginia and then California, seemed to be enjoying his time living in Brussels and often posted photos of his day-to-day activities there.

“Officially my favorite city,” he captioned a selfie with friends at a local gallery in March.

Mourning fans flooded Colin’s Instagram with messages Wednesday after the news of his death broke.

“Sending my thoughts and prayers to your family and friends,” one fan commented. Another added, “Rip angel.”

Colin, Pat Monahan, Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford and Scott Underwood formed Train in San Francisco in 1993.

The band — known for hits including “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” “Calling All Angels” and “Hey, Soul Sister” — became widely popular by the late ’90s and early 2000s.

They won two Grammy Awards in 2002 for their work. A year later, Colin left the group as he battled substance abuse issues. He was later a member of other bands such as Painbirds and the Side Deal.

Lead singer Monahan, 55, and the other members of Train did not immediately react to Colin’s death.
