Well, it’s May.
Lance Bass prepared for the start of the month by trolling Justin Timberlake’s inescapable “It’s Gonna Be May” meme ahead of the pop culture-created holiday.
Bass shared a TikTok video Tuesday in which he presents his husband, Michael Turchin, with a handmade card that he begins to read aloud.
“Roses are red, April is gray, but when you wake up tomorrow …” Turchin reads before the camera pans to the former pop star, who is wearing ramen noodles on his head to troll Timberlake’s 2000 hairstyle as he belts out the chorus of the hit *NSYNC tune “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

“POV: your friend mispronounces a word once and now it’s a national holiday,” Bass, 44, captioned the post.
“Happy #itsgonnabemay Day!”
Timberlake, 43, also made fun of his famed mispronunciation last year on TikTok when he answered a prompt that stated, “What’s a word you pronounced incorrectly one time and it haunts you to this day?”
“Uhh, ‘me,'” the “Mirrors” crooner answered.
Timberlake re-shared his old video on his Instagram Stories Tuesday in preparation for the annual event.
April 30 also happened to be the kickoff of Timberlake’s The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which took place in Vancouver.
After his performance, the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer shared behind-the-scenes footage of his preparations for the concert before taking the stage. His wife, Jessica Biel, makes a brief cameo in the clip wearing merch from his tour.
“SHOW 1. Thank you Vancouver,” he captioned his Instagram post.
