The unofficial inquest into the deafening boos hurled at Kim Kardashian during the Tom Brady roast is wrapping up.
And Page Six hears that — while the volume and intensity of the jeers that met the mogul when she took the stage at the Netflix event baffled many Hollywood watchers — insiders say the culprits are sports bros whipped into a frenzy by their Presidente, Dave Portnoy.
Meanwhile, we’re told that Netflix cut the boos from the streamable show after host Kevin Hart asked them to spare her blushes.
“[Kardashian] gets an obsessive amount of hate online from ‘bro’ culture, so her team always knew there’d be a chance they’d be disruptive [at an event honoring an athlete],” said a source. They added, “She took it all with grace.”
We are told that much of the ire stems from the Barstool Sports creator.

When there were rumors back in July that Brady was dating Kardashian, Portnoy posted a video online trashing the reality star.
“It makes me want to puke,” said Portnoy. “Tom Brady can’t date Kim Kardashian. Listen, she’s hot, she’s a bazillionaire, but she’s a paparazzi girl,… she f*cked on camera. . . she ruins every man’s life she touches. She’s a Daily News, a Page Six, a reality TV girl.”
(Sounds like a good thing to us!)
Of course, Portnoy delighted in the spectacle.
“Kardashian got booed like [NFL commissioner Roger] Goodell after the Pats won the superbowl,” Portnoy wrote on X. “Kevin Hart had to legit tell people to stop. I f*****g love it. She also sucked and read the teleprompter like a robot.'”
Meanwhile, sources say that Hart, who fronted the roast and served as an executive producer, likely had the boos — which could be heard clearly on the live broadcast — cut from the recorded version that now available to stream on Netflix.
“They’re friends. He was probably just thinking it wasn’t very nice,” speculates the source.
But a spokesperson for Netflix tells us, “No talent was involved in post-production edits.”
Kardashian took the stage on Sunday at the Kia Forum in L.A. during, “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” after Hart called her up to make a toast.
“I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” began the Skims founder, who didn’t get to finish before the crowd erupted in boos.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Hart said in her defense.
Comics took aim at Kardashian during the evening with even Brady getting in some barbs.
“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight,” the former NFL star, 46, told audience members. “Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,” referring to the famously unpredictable Kanye West.
Kardashian also got in some of her own zingers.
“I wasn’t going to come tonight,” she quipped, “but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might.”
We hear the show ran over time, and even though Kardashian needed to catch a flight from Los Angeles to New York for the Met Gala, she stayed until the end. “She was happy to be there and support,” says a source.
“Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were and I’d never say if we did or not, I’d just release the tape,” she continued, referring to 2007 sex tape.
A rep for the reality star, 43, did not respond to request for comment.
Will Ferrel, Nikki Glaser, and football players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski also attended.
