Doja Cat is dripping — but not just in diamonds — at the Met Gala.
The star hit the 2024 red carpet on Monday sporting a white see-through T-shirt dress that appeared to be soaking wet, paired with clear sky-high-platforms.
She went with similarly eye-catching makeup, completing the look with glitter tears streaming down her face as if her mascara ran from the water.
The 28-year-old “Woman” singer hardly threw in the towel when it came to pre-carpet looks either, as she stepped out of the Mark Hotel wearing a mini towel-like dress and Crown Affair hair towel on her way to change before hitting the museum steps.
While the outfit wouldn’t have looked out of place stepping out of the shower, her dazzling necklace and earrings were hardly standard bathtime attire.
It wasn’t her first skin-baring look of the day either, as she stepped out in a sheer, rain coat-like ensemble and nude shapewear while arriving at the same hotel — a hot spot for A-list attendees — on Monday morning.

And the day before the red carpet, she nodded to the sleeping part of this year’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” Met Gala theme, rocking a gown seemingly designed to look like bed linens while taking a trip to the NYC Cartier store with with Vetements fashion designer Guram Gvasalia.
Last year, Doja Cat — whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — went similarly all out for her Met Gala debut, committing to the Karl Lagerfeld theme and going full feline to channel the late fashion designer’s beloved cat, Choupette.
The “Paint the Town Red” singer even wore a prosthetic cat nose to totally transform into the pampered pet, in addition to sporting an Oscar de La Renta gown featuring a feathered train and hood with bedazzled cat ears.
Doja has a history of experimenting with wild fashion and beauty looks, from the transparent dress and full-body tattoos she wore to the 2024 Grammys to the time she stepped out in metallic gold body paint during Paris Fashion Week.
In 2022, she even went live on social media, shaving her hair and eyebrows off.
The “Say So” singer also made a bold statement last month at Coachella 2024 in an outfit made from blond hair extensions — and made history as the first female rapper to headline the music festival.
With her latest look, she’s going from headlining to making fashion headlines.
