Selena Gomez finally found someone who makes her feel “rare.”
The singer and actress completely trusts her boyfriend of six months, Benny Blanco, who makes her feel “safe and secure,” according to a new report.
“Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight Friday.
“He’s respectful, isn’t a player, and not in it for the attention or fame. He doesn’t care about any of that and Selena sees that and really trusts him.”
The abovementioned reasons are why Gomez, 31, felt last week “was a good time to share how happy she is with her fans.”
The “Calm Down” hitmaker took to social media on Dec. 7 to confirm she and Blanco, 35, are an item.
Replying to various fan comments on Instagram, she called the music producer her “absolute everything” and “the best thing that’s ever happened” to her.
She also gushed that he treats her better “than any human being on this planet.”
Following her comment spree, Gomez posted a photo of herself cuddled up to Blanco on her Instagram Story and an image of a sparkling ring with a “B” on it — on her left ring finger.
Entertainment Tonight’s source also claimed that Gomez feels she can be “her most authentic self” around Blanco and that it took a long time for her to trust someone so much.
“It’s taken a lot for her to let someone in, but Benny has proven himself to her and she appreciates his ideals and morals,” they explained.
“She feels like she can give him a part of her heart that she hasn’t been able to, or willing to, offer in a relationship in a very long time.”
They continued, “Selena feels like she has finally found one of the good guys and it’s been very refreshing for her.”
The insider added that their feelings toward one another are “mutual” and they are “looking forward to growing their relationship and special bond.”
Page Six did not immediately hear back from Gomez’s representatives regarding the report.
Thursday night, the Disney alum showed how serious she is about Blanco by sharing a snapshot of herself kissing him on Instagram.
She labeled it one of her “favorite moments” in the caption of her carousel.
