Julia Stiles’ secret is out.
The actress announced she and her husband, Preston Cook, quietly welcomed baby No. 3 last year.
“I’m kind of like a bundle of emotions because I have a 5-month-old baby and I went into directing my first movie,” she said of “Wish You Were Here” in a New York Times interview published Wednesday.
Stiles, 43, went on to tell the newspaper that she was “running on fumes in terms of sleep” but feeling “more energized than … ever.”

She did not provide any further details about the little one’s name or sex.
The “10 Things I Hate about You” star did, however, explain how parenting has affected how she approaches her career.

“I think that actually being a mom is really great training for being a director,” she said. “You have to think 10 steps ahead but also be in the present moment. You have to be good at time management. You have to be sensitive to people’s needs and guide them, but also hold a boundary.”
She and Cook are also the parents of two sons.
The couple tied the knot in September 2017 on a Seattle beach while the bride was pregnant with their first child.
The newlyweds welcomed Strummer, now 6, two months later, followed by Arlo, now 2, in January 2022.
While raising the little ones — and keeping their faces off social media — Stiles has been mom-shamed by her followers.
She clapped back at “snarky” comments about her carrier usage in December 2017, telling her haters to have “more fun.”
