Andy Cohen has apologized for questioning Kate Middleton’s whereabouts and fueling Prince William affair rumors before the princess announced her cancer diagnosis.

“I just want to say, I am heartbroken by the news about Princess Kate,” the “Watch What Happens Live” host, 55, said on Monday’s broadcast of his SiriusXM show, “Andy Cohen Live.”

Cohen, who noted that the radio show had been off the air since before Middleton made the shocking health announcement, continued, “I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right.”

The Bravo honcho admitted he wished he kept his “mouth shut” before noting, “We are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles.”

Cohen statement comes more than a week after the Princess of Wales, 42, revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous. The surgery was successful,” she said in a video message.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

Middleton did not disclose what kind of cancer she has nor the stage, but she shared that it “came as a huge shock.”

“William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” she shared, referencing her husband, Prince William.

Middleton explained that she waited to share the news publicly so the couple’s three children –– Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 –– could have time to “understand and process” it.

She signed off by asking for “some time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment, a far cry from the weeks of online speculation about her well-being following her abdominal surgery on Jan. 16.

Despite Kensington Palace announcing at the time that she would be out of the public eye until at least Easter, Cohen was one of the many celebrities who spread wild conspiracy theories about her whereabouts.

On March 18, a video surfaced of Middleton and William walking around a local farm store, leading Cohen to join internet trolls in theorizing that the woman in the footage was not actually the princess.

“That ain’t Kate…” he wrote on X.

Later that week, the Bravo bigwig doubled down on his theory, claiming on his “Daddy Diaries Podcast” episode, “Those weren’t photos from the farm stand. … The captions on those photos said Kate pictured last August, blah, blah. It’s a lie.”

During the same episode, Cohen pushed unfounded rumors that William had an affair with Lady Rose Hanbury.

“It all seems to come back to this lady Rose who he’s had an affair — who he allegedly had an affair with,” Cohen said.

“Don’t forget he broke it off with [Middleton] after they dated for years and sowed his wild oats for a time and then went back to her,” he continued.

Hanbury’s lawyers called the allegations “completely false.”

The “Daddy Diaries” author even said William is “his father’s [son],” referring to King Charles III cheating on his then-wife, Princess Diana, with his now-spouse, Queen Camilla.

However, during an episode of his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy,” he made sure to say, “The most important thing is that we wish her health and recovery. That is it.”

The infidelity allegations, which initially emerged in 2019, resurfaced amid Middleton’s absence from the public eye.

Stephen Colbert even joked about the rumors on his late-night talk show on March 12.

“The kingdom has been all a flutter by the seeming disappearance of Kate Middleton. Well now, internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband and the future King of England, William, having an affair,” he said on “The Late Show.”

The talk show host later said he regretted joking about the alleged affair.
