A sparkling shirt Britney Spears once wore on “The X Factor” is up for auction, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Goldin Auctions listed the Sheri Bodell chainmail halter top from the Nov. 8, 2012, episode of the Fox singing competition series on Friday as part of its Pop Culture Elite Auction.
While bidding starts at $500, the midriff-baring top could fetch five figures; collector Carlo De Santis had it authenticated and appraised for $20,000 to $25,000.

The “Toxic” singer, who is not involved in the auction, was a judge on Season 2 of the US edition of “The X Factor” alongside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato.
Spears’ contestant Carly Rose Sonenclar finished in second place.
The Princess of Pop, 42, shared in her 2023 memoir, “The Woman in Me,” that she “absolutely hated” working on the show, as she was still under a conservatorship at the time.
“I’ve been forced into things I didn’t want to do and been humiliated. It’s not my thing at this point,” she wrote. “Now, if you got me a cute cameo on a fun TV show where I’m in and out in a day, that’s one thing, but to act skeptical for eight hours straight while judging people on TV? Uh, no thank you.”
Items worn by Spears rarely hit the auction block, as she sold the bulk of her most iconic outfits in 2003 through her charity, the Britney Spears Foundation.
Clothing from later in the Grammy winner’s career are believed to be stored in a Louisiana warehouse belonging to her estranged father and former conservator, Jamie Spears.
