“That’s kind of how I roll,” Gage said in a response. “I’m a little impulsive but, that was probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve ever done in my life.”

Gage also offered an apology to music icon Shania Twain during the interview, saying he’s sorry for “wasting” the singer’s time.

Twain, 58, serenaded the couple by singing “You’re Still the One” on their big day in Sin City.

“I want to apologize to Shania Twain for wasting her time. I mean, ‘we’re still holding on,’ ‘you’re still the one’ after, like, three weeks? That was unhinged,” he confessed. “That was the biggest waste of her time. But, I love you, Shania. I’m really sorry about that.”

As Page Six previously reported, Appleton and Gage’s relationship was first made public in February 2023 when the two shared photos from their vacation at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

After saying “I do,” the couple signed a post-nuptial agreement on May 3, 2023, which noted that the division of assets were to be handled according to the binding document. The divorce filing, obtained by Page Six, also stated that they shared “no community assets.”
